The Hub Coworking Space

This nearly 1,600 square foot open coworking space is located on the 4th floor of the Laine Place/OBDC Building at 301 N. Union St. The space was created from largely untouched storage space during building renovation and features the original brick wall and hardwood floors from the 1895 structure.

 

The modern coworking space is popular among entrepreneurs for meeting and collaboration and has served as the home location for several programs supporting new businesses in Olean. Access to the space is available on a membership basis. If you need a space to work on your ideas with good Wi-Fi, comfortable chairs and table space, then this is the place for you!

Amenities include:

  • Chair seating for 30 with 5 large wooden tables for workspace 

  • Collaboration pod with TV w/ HDMI plugin

  • Multiple PHILIPS 22-inch Computer Monitors

  • 100Mbps Wi-Fi access 

  • Vibe Smartboard

  • Nook Solo Phone Booth

  • Soft Drinks, Snacks, & Coffee

Coworking Space

Private Offices

There is currently one office available for rent!

For those entrepreneurs needing a little more regular privacy, The Hub also offers 6 private offices ranging from 182 sq ft to 195 sq ft. All offices feature excellent views of downtown Olean and beyond and are equipped with lighting, electric, wired and wireless internet. The current rate for a private office is $300/month, and a daily pass for a private office is $25/day.

Amenities include:

  • 100Mbps Wi-Fi access & internet

  • Fully outfitted office with furniture

  • Soft Drinks, Snacks, & Coffee

Erick J. Laine Boardroom

As part of our offerings, scheduling of the OBDC building’s Erick J. Laine Boardroom, with seating for 15-20 people, is available for a limited number of hours each month as part of the membership package. In addition, Hub members can rent the space for longer timeframes, pending availability, at a reduced rate from the general public. 

Amenities include:

  • Executive style boardroom layout with capacity for 15-20 people 

  • Excellent A/V equipment to enable remote meetings 

  • Coffee station 

  • Whiteboard 

Board Room

Sister Margaret Carney Lecture Hall

As part of our offerings, scheduling of the OBDC building’s Sister Margaret Carney Lecture Hall, with seating for 22-25 people, is available for a limited number of hours each month as part of the membership package. In addition, Hub members can rent the space for longer timeframes, pending availability, at a reduced rate from the general public.

Amenities include:

  • Classic classroom style lecture hall with capacity for 22-25 people 

  • Excellent A/V equipment 

  • Lectern
